My definition of UX is straightforward: User Experience involves identifying human needs in a given product space, followed by professional processes to address those needs with functional and aesthetically pleasing solutions.
To achieve this, a qualified UX team should research, propose, and test several ideas before building any solutions. No significant development effort should take place until it is proven that current processes (not just design) can be greatly improved.

In 2025, it's impossible to plan forward-thinking user experiences without considering the impact of Artificial Intelligence, or "AI" ...
I have recently learned to create and train AI chat agents to interact with humans and address their questions in my client's products and web sites. The chat on the bottom right of this very website is just one example. Like most of us I'm learning more about AI capabilities and practical uses every day!
